Just when I was getting scared that the music scene in Helsinki might have actually gotten stuck in the 80s rather than just fondly remembering it, I found LCMDF. This duo of two awesome and beautiful girls - Emma & Mia - play incredibly fun and intense electronic music that sounds like Yeasayer on uppers or an estrogen infused Death from Above 1979, it’s catchy as hell, fast, and certainly unique. Hopefully these ladies tour around Europe soon.
