When most people think of Austin, thoughts of smoky bar rock, blissed out psychedelic music, and good Mexican food come to mind. Corduroi (aka Cody Wilson) creates sublime, airy electronic music that is a welcome breath of fresh electro artistry coming from the sleeping desert town. Each synth trickle and erratic drum beat seems expertly timed, and there is an appreciation for silence and static that is harder and harder to come by in the world of well produced, Ableton based composition.
